In your role as Specialist I, Global Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the development of standardized resources, IT channel enablement content, and channel marketing initiatives working closely with the Strategic Alliance team and regional sales and marketing teams. The role provides day-to-day support for Global Marketing and the UC IT Channel Enablement strategy.


This role is hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site), based in our Niles, IL location. 

Responsibilities
  • Supports global marketing team members in enablement activities and content development efforts. Maintains and organizes marketing assets, sales enablement content, and channel resources across designated internal and external content platforms.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of global channel enablement materials, including presentations, toolkits, guides, campaign frameworks, and partner communication resources, designed to support regional sales and marketing teams.
  • Support the collection, organization, analysis and reporting of marketing performance metrics to help evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate the planning, budget monitoring, and communications for assigned projects. Regular alignment with global and regional marketing and sales teams to support awareness, understanding, and effective utilization of programs, activities, and processes.
  • Supports project communications across content creation, advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and event marketing activities. Assists in the development of creative briefs and coordinates project requirements with internal creative teams under guidance from senior marketing staff.
  • Works with cross-functional teams, including Global Marketing, Regional Marketing and Sales, Product Management, Sales Enablement, Shared Services, and other stakeholders, to coordinate assigned initiatives, promote alignment across regions, and incorporate regional market input where appropriate.
  • Coordinates logistics and supporting communications for channel-focused webinars, training sessions, trade shows, events, and partner engagement activities, including scheduling, materials, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develops knowledge of assigned product solutions, markets, customers, and channel ecosystems through training, industry research, events, and stakeholder engagement. Ensures adherence to Shure Brand Guidelines and established quality standards by serving as a steward of the Shure brand.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience, including marketing and high-impact marketing communications.
  • Project management experience with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
  • Experience managing day-to-day relationships with external marketing agencies a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to participate in constructive discussion among a wide range of cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for correct grammar and an ear for good copy.
  • Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate photography graphic layouts for both style and impact. 
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to efficiently work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience working virtually with remote teams.

Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $54,700 to $87,600 with a midpoint target.  If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
