Position Summary

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations in India, ensuring compliance with India GAAP and local regulations.
• Accurate and timely monthly financial close including accounting, tax, and government compliance.
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to US leadership.
• Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with US leadership to align financial strategies and objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Compliance with respect to SEZs, STPI, Customs regulations, and other government schemes.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.
• Stay updated on changes in Indian financial regulations and ensure compliance.

Desired Profile:

• Full Time degree in finance, Accounting, or related field MBA Finance/MCom/Chartered Accountant (CA)/CA Inter/Accountant/ICWA/CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of India GAAP and experience with Indian financial regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and leading teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• F&A experience in a software product company and experience in an internationally owned Indian subsidiary is an added advantage.
