As a Specialist UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive, secure, and forward-thinking digital Identity solutions. You will be at the forefront of innovation, creating experiences that protect our customers while providing a seamless experience across multiple assets and touchpoints. You will work on complex and highly visible projects that will provide unique challenges to deliver great value to our customers and staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and investigate emerging authentication trends and best practices to improve security and adapt to new threats while prioritising user convenience and ease of use.
- Design the end-to-end experience of robust authentication and verification methods, in line with technical capabilities and business requirements.
- Look at the big picture and the holistic customer journey, including mapping entry points and happy & unhappy paths.
- Assess and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices for data security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and security experts, to deliver cohesive design solutions.
- Liaise and facilitate conversations with a team of SMEs from Legal, Compliance, Fraud, and Cyber through the application of User-Centred Design methods and workshops.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to experiment, gather insights, and iterate on designs.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles and ensure the user experience is at the heart of all ID&V (Identity & Verification) solutions.

Your skills and experience
You are an enthusiastic problem-solver with a strong background in UX design. You’re great at:
- Human-centred design, understanding the relationships between people’s behaviours and digital products.
- Systems thinking, capable of designing for the holistic ecosystem beyond the screen.
- Designing advanced and robust identity experiences.
- Rapid prototyping, comfortable with various methodologies from free-hand sketching to pixel-perfect wireframing.
- Recognising aesthetic and visual design, knowing the difference between “good” and “great” work.
- Experience in Agile and/or LEAN projects.
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Sound commercial acumen and strong communication skills.
