The Role

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Role Summary

We are looking for a creative and organized Specialist to support the execution of high-impact events across our slate of Netflix original content. In this role, you’ll assist in ideating and producing title-specific events that drive buzz and awareness. Sometimes working under the guidance of event leads and sometimes leading independently on scaled events, you’ll collaborate across departments and contribute to events that reflect the innovation and quality of Netflix campaigns.

The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, detail-oriented, and  thrives in the fast-paced world of entertainment marketing. This individual is a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative team player who can manage multiple projects and communicate effectively. They should be comfortable supporting events that may occur outside of standard business hours, they are curious about entertainment, and confident in representing Netflix. This role blends creativity, logistics, and teamwork — perfect for someone eager to grow in the events space.

The role is based in Los Angeles with some travel expected for on-site support.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist, you’ll support the development and execution of event strategies for Netflix title launches, including:

  • Supporting both lead and co-led events, as well as taking ownership of select smaller-scale activations and promotional events.

  • Assisting in the creative conceptualization and logistical planning of title events.

  • Supporting Sr. Managers and Managers in aligning event strategies with broader campaign goals.

  • Helping manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and production logistics.

  • Assisting with research, location scouting, vendor outreach, and contract coordination.

  • Collaborating with internal teams (Publicity, Marketing, Live Production, Photo & AV Studio, Social, etc.) to ensure alignment and clear communication.

  • Staying informed on trends in hybrid and virtual event formats and relevant technologies.

  • Preparing event recaps and tracking feedback to refine future efforts.

  • Pitching fresh ideas that push creativity while supporting brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in event planning, production, or experiential marketing (entertainment industry experience is a plus).

  • Experience supporting live and/or virtual events of varying sizes.

  • Exemplary communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • A clear and concise communication style and can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally.

  • Effective collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other project tools.
