JOB SUMMARY: 

As a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist, you will be responsible for enhanced specialized processes including but not limited to overseeing our loans with mortgage insurance premiums, reconcile and pay all mortgage insurance premiums consisting of more than $33 million a month, and placing escrow stops on loans pending a refinance. This position will require your ability to perform Escrow Vendor Specialist Level II tasks. This is an experienced level job that handles processes with a moderate to high degree of complexity. Duties are to be performed in accordance with all US State and Federal laws/regulations as well as the company’s outlined policies and procedures.  The approved starting pay for this role is $22.00-$25.00 per hour.
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

 • Complete all tasks and responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. 

• Assists escrow management with boarding processes and reconciliation for recently acquired loan populations. 

• Independent oversight of loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).

 • Reconcile, process, and bulk transfer monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.

 • Communicate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to obtain information, research issues, and rectify any problems. 

• Process report of loans that are a pending refinance to stop all escrow disbursements.

 • Generate data points through compiling spreadsheets produced by junior level associates to complete daily/weekly tasking and relays information to management for monthly business reviews. 

• Handles quality control review for junior level associates and relays information/data to escrow management monthly. 

• Escalates high level and complex escrow issues to Team Lead and/or management and makes recommendations on possible solutions. 

• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College education preferred but not required. 

  • Previous experience using mortgage loan servicing and loan originating systems (such as FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase).

  • Three to four years (3-4) years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Teams, & Outlook)

  • Ability to perform duties and functions of an Escrow Liaison Level II in addition to Escrow Liaison Senior duties. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both internally and externally. 

  • Ability to manage work to meet strict deadlines. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot moderate to highly complex escrow issues and make decisions which have significant impact. 

  • Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervision. 

  • Strong math skills, balance, and check results for accuracy. 

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to assist less experienced team members and associates who are currently in training. 

  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
