Responsibilities:
1. Market & Industry Analysis
Analyse market trends, legislative developments, and industry hiring demands to ensure alignment with the career aspirations and employability needs of SIM students and alumni.
2. Industry & Opportunity Mapping
Research and identify emerging sectors, growth industries, and in-demand roles within the Business, Banking, Accounting, and Finance landscape for internships and graduate employment.
3. Employer Engagement & Partnership Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners to:
· Create internship, traineeship, and job opportunities (local and overseas)
· Support talent development initiatives
· Facilitate industry participation in SIM activities (e.g. guest speakers, networking sessions, career events)
4. Branding & Outreach
Support marketing and outreach efforts to drive student participation in internships, traineeships, and career development programmes, while enhancing SIM’s visibility among employers.
5. Internship & Placement Administration
Coordinate and administer internship, industry attachment, and job placement processes, ensuring smooth execution and positive stakeholder experience.
6. Audit & Compliance Support
Assist in internal and external audit exercises, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to organisational and regulatory requirements.
7. Operational & Administrative Support
Provide administrative support for departmental and divisional activities, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
8. Data Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyse employer engagement data, including identifying key partner organisations and high-demand roles, to inform strategy and decision-making.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic Education and Work Experience
· Degree holder with at least 1 year of professional experience.
· Strong interest in industry engagement, business development, or talent partnerships
· Experience in one or more of the following: customer service, talent development, marketing, corporate social responsibility and business development.
· Background in Business, Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline would be an added advantage
· Experience in an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) setting would be an added advantage.
