Specialist DevOps Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in managing, automating, and optimizing modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL,  Docker, and Python/Shell scripting. This role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance deployment automation, ensure reliability, and support scalable infrastructure for critical business applications.

How will you make an impact?  

• Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Use Terraform or CloudFormation to build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, repeatable provisioning.
• Manage configuration, networking, and access policies across cloud environments.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions & Workflows.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve release velocity.
• Implement automated rollback, approval gates, and environment promotion workflows.
• Experience with managing EKS clusters including provision, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes networking and security in AWS
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy via ECS or EKS.
• Experience with configuring and fine-tuning observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL) for efficient monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience with leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to assist in coding, testing, and automating DevOps tasks.
• Experience in integration of AI-driven automation tools into CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes management. 

Have you got what it takes?

• Experience: 8–10 years of relevant DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Kubernetes Platform Management EKS preferred.
• Cloud Platforms: Strong expertise with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, Route53).
• IaC Tools: Proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• CI/CD Tools: Solid hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Groovy, or Shell scripting.
• Containers: Strong understanding of Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
• Kafka and AWS MSK experience will be added advantage.
• Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect / Terraform Associate/
