We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis II to join our BNY Institute – BNY’s macro strategy insights platform team. This role is located in Pune
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- We are building out the capabilities of BNY Institute to transform complex data into compelling stories for internal strategists and external clients. Help architect and deliver interactive chart packs, exploratory dashboards, and—over time—AI-augmented “smart” visualizations that helps our data tell a story for clients.
- Platform Build-out
- Design a scalable charting framework with reusable templates.
- Integrate with data APIs and Snowflake/S3 for real-time refreshes and cache management.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
- Chart Pack Development
- Produce automated macro & flow “packs” that update with latest data drops.
- Implement advanced interactivity: drill-downs, scenario sliders, annotation layers.
- Optimize performance for large time-series and high-frequency charts.for data cleansing, feature engineering, and model integration.
- Smart Visualization R&D
- Prototype NLP-driven chart search, automated chart recommendations, and anomaly-surfacing visuals.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to embed models into UX seamlessly.
- UX - Visualize large data sets (structured/unstructured)
- Drive best practices in data-driven storytelling; host demos and training sessions.
- Gather feedback from research, sales, and marketing to iterate quickly.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- SQL, Python, SaaS analytics, finance interactive data products
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required;
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; bachelor’s degree preferred
