What You Do
What You Do- Collaborate with customers to define application requirements and jointly set product vision, leading development team to deliver product that achieve customer needs
As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:
- Build data visualizations to drive company performance.
- Direct system testing and validation procedures.
- Direct software programming and documentation development.
- Consult with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
- Work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
- Replicate data from source systems to target systems using ETL (extract transform and load).
- Consult with departments and staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status including project pipeline plan and status
- Establish strong team member relations at all levels.
- Provide software system design, development, maintenance, and reporting with a focus on teamwork, inclusion, and Kaizen (continuous improvement).
- Lead projects while performing a (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and KPI reporting through monthly follow up of data analytics and system projects.
- Ensure timely reporting of department KPI’s and communicate issues, if any.
- Create standard design documentation on systems and tool creation.
- Direct system testing and validation procedures and work with customers or departments on technical issues including data visualization and software system design and maintenance.
- Utilize Agile (Scrum) framework and lead development of system solutions to improve data analytics.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development life cycle.
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools and languages such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, DAX, Visual Basic, Python.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications
- Ability to write technical specifications and documentation.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics
- Experience in SQL, SAS, Tableau, R, Python, and similar tools preferred.
- Experience as a normal end user in SAP ERP System.
- Experience in modifying SAP ERP System.
- Experience in ETL’s (Extract, Transform and Load).
