At Checkout.com we are scaling our Sales organisation, and we are looking for a talented Analyst to help manage and improve the way we calculate and communicate commissions paid to sales employees. As a member of the Sales Operations team, this role will report to the Senior Manager in Incentive Design, working closely with Finance, Commercial, and People teams.
How you’ll make an impact
Leading the end-to-end process for calculating complex commissions payouts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to policy.
Proactively identifying opportunities to develop and optimize commission processes and systems, translating new requirements into scalable solutions and driving their implementation.
Leveraging advanced data analytics to uncover deep insights into sales performance, providing strategic recommendations to sales leadership and designing impactful dashboards.
Conducting comprehensive audits and validations of commissions payouts at the end of each calendar quarter, implementing robust control measures and managing reconciliations.
Ensuring the highest level of accuracy and detail in information provided to the payroll team, acting as the primary point of contact for commission-related payroll queries.
Independently resolving complex errors or issues that arise during the payout process, clearly explaining intricate scenarios and their resolutions to leadership with confidence.
Taking full ownership of maintaining and enhancing our commission database, designing and implementing strategies to ensure unparalleled data integrity and quality.
Spearheading the validation of critical data across multiple sources, designing protocols for mass-update records, and leading complex troubleshooting and error resolution efforts.
Collaborating strategically with the Finance team to validate revenue data, proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving significant errors or discrepancies, and driving alignment on data sources.
Managing the seamless onboarding process for all new employees regarding their commissions plans, including designing and delivering training sessions to ensure full understanding and compliance.
What we’re looking for
Strong Excel and/or GoogleSheets skills, including an ability to produce clear reports.
Experience in data analytics preferred.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstration of absolute discretion around sensitive and confidential information is essential.
Strong organisational skills with effective prioritisation.
Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile for the team.
Process-driven, always looking for ways to optimize existing workflows in a scalable fashion.
Numerical degree, e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
