About the Role
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist. This position will guarantee the visibility and execution of our brands at point of sale. This role will seek to give our customers the best experience possible at our retailers and will be key in building strong relationships with our key business partners to achieve this goal.
As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you will lead the ongoing implementation of merchandising in regional retailers, tailor-made projects, and our promoter salesforces. In this role, you will report to the head of marketing for the region and supervise a Trade Marketing Specialist based in Mexico City and a Marketing Coordinator in Guatemala.
What You Will Do
- Build and strengthen relationships with our key retailers across displays and customer marketing areas.
- Create and implement the POS strategy (store-in-store concepts, corners, standalone displays, etc.).
- Develop POP materials and creative pitches to find the most disruptive ideas to create game-changing POS execution.
- Seek to achieve the highest ROI for every execution and program, evaluating the best costs and aligning closely with sales.
- Manage the trade marketing budget and ensure accuracy, following up with Specialists and Coordinators to maintain monthly forecast spend.
- Supervise the promoters program, set targets for agencies and promoters, and lead communication with the Specialist and Coordinator.
- Seek the best ways to send and receive displays and materials across all countries in the region.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience working directly with retail, whether on the retail, agency, or supplier side.
- Analytical thinking, ROI calculations, and profitability on exhibitions.
- Proficiency in regional campaign execution and team management across different countries.
- Strong people skills and high involvement with other areas, both internal and external.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Category management knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commercial or business-related fields.
- Consumer electronics knowledge.

- Willingness to work in an office in Mexico City in a hybrid scheme.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Demonstrable ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
