The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and possess the technical expertise to transform raw footage into compelling visual content. As a Creative Video Editor, you will work closely with our Art Direction and Production teams to create high-quality videos that engage our audience and support our brand’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished video content, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and a cohesive narrative.

  • Storytelling: Craft engaging stories that captivate and inform the audience, utilizing both visual and audio elements effectively.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Art Directors, Directors, Producers other team members and External Editors to understand project objectives and deliver content that meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Post-Production: Manage all aspects of post-production, including color correction, sound mixing, and special effects.

  • Graphics and Effects: Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.

  • Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.

  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content.

  • File Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring efficient workflow and easy access to assets.

  • Staying Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends to continuously improve skills and output quality.

  • Cultural Trends: Stay on top of best-practice creative, cultural and industry trends to continuously engage consumers.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Animation: Experience with motion graphics and animation.

  • Sound Design: Basic understanding of sound design and audio editing.

  • Color Grading: Proficiency in color grading to enhance the visual appeal of videos.

  • Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh, innovative ideas to video projects.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different styles and genres of video content.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position

  • Good command of business English language
