As a key member of our team in developing markets (Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan, Algeria, Libya, Yemen & MENAP Exports), you'll drive the execution of customer plans that support Mondelēz International's growth strategy. By understanding business metrics and financial drivers, you'll work closely with key country managers to meet annual targets and foster profitable growth for our customers and brands.
How You Will Contribute
In this role, you will:
- Lead Trade Marketing Plans: Develop trade marketing strategies for category annual plans and the contract process.
- Drive Strategic Decision-Making: Utilize market dynamics and consumer insights by channel to inform trade marketing strategy.
- Manage Business Planning Meetings: Spearhead planning meetings to set sales quotas and align with annual goals based on key business drivers.
- Optimize Category Investments: Recommend and monitor investments in category-building initiatives, ensuring excellence at the point of sale.
- Monitor Competition: Track competitors' activities to identify opportunities and potential threats to our brands.
- Support Multi-Category Teams: Provide accurate and actionable insights on channel performance to identify opportunities in innovation, promotions, pricing, and portfolio that drive multi-category success.
What You Will Bring

- Category Planning Experience: Expertise in category planning and executing growth strategies.
- Future-Focused Mindset: Interest in industry trends, digital solutions, and consumer innovation, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Analytical Skills & Business Acumen: Strong data analysis skills to monitor results, optimize performance, and recommend growth-focused actions.
- Influential Communication Skills: Ability to engage and persuade stakeholders effectively, with resilience to champion alternative perspectives.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

- Experience: 5-7 years in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or category planning and activation.
- Analytical and Business Reporting Skills: Skilled in developing business reports and analyzing performance across channels, customers, and consumers.
- Retail Environment Knowledge: Strong understanding of the retail environment, promotional tactics, and execution processes.
- Customer-Facing Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Language Skills: English is a must. Arabic and French language skills are an advantage.
