About the role:
You will work to solve complex issues or concerns impacting our provider contract configuration space. You will act as a subject matter expert for initial contract configuration, amendment configuration and tax ID maintenance. You will be the liaison between teams across Oscar. You will track and trend provider contracting issues and partner with stakeholders to resolve escalated issues. You will provide teams with content knowledge, documentation, and training.
You will report into the Associate Manager, Credentialing and Contracting Ops.
Work Location: This is a remote position based in the field, open to candidates who reside: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia. Your daily work will involve a blend of work from your home office and frequent travel for client meetings. #LI-Remote
Pay Transparency: The hourly pay for this role is: $24.00/hr. You are also eligible for employee benefits and monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year.
Responsibilities:
- Support, manage, or escalate complex contracting configurations and issues that are not solved using conventional workflows.
- Support, manage, or escalate aging inventory to leadership.
- Effectively manage internal or external escalated transactions and communicate with appropriate parties for effective resolution in adherence to SLAs
- Be the point person for stakeholders in other areas of the business to improve feedback loops and trend member/provider issues
- Support production representatives through a variety of communication venues
- Manage queue work and assigned caseload through efficient dashboard management. Including reporting.
- Collaborate daily with production and Internal cross-functional Leaders on systemic issues and communicate blockers to care and satisfaction
- Audit and update workflows in our knowledge management system
- Create and facilitate training with guidance from Team Leads, as needed
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of provider contracting configuration
- 2+ years previous work experience in a fast-paced volume-based environment
- 2+ years strong quantitative or analytical skills focused on proactively identifying or solving problems
- 2+ years of strong technical skills with Microsoft programs.
Bonus points:
- Bachelor's Degree
- High school diploma or GED
- Lean Six Sigma or similar operations certifications
- Computer literacy skills using CRM, Knowledge Management tools, ticketing systems and reporting tools (Google Suite/Microsoft Office)
- Experience providing project oversight
- Healthcare and/or SAAS experience
- Strong verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions
