Role Overview
The Avionics Specialist - Configuration Data Management position reports to the Configuration Management Sub-Section Manager within the Avionics & Electrical Power Center of Excellence (COE). This position will support product and program teams by reviewing, releasing, and maintaining configuration-controlled technical data and delivering customer-required data deliverables (SDRLs) in accordance with defined procedures.
Note: This is not an IT position
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and deliver configuration-controlled engineering data and change packages per documented procedures and applicable customer and standards/regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-departments/functional staff and support/initiate related communications as required to complete assigned tasks.
- Support configuration boards and associated reviews necessary to determine impact of proposed engineering data releases and changes.
- Support configuration management and/or artifact related activities (i.e., change task execution and checking functions, number assignments, parts list support, data gathering for reports, maintain delivery logs, documentation preparation/analysis, access/utilize portals and tools as needed.)
- Support customer/regulatory authority audits on an as required basis.
- Works under guidance of experienced team members; follows defined procedures and escalates issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Configuration Management, Project Management, and/or Engineering)
- This position requires U.S. citizenship status

The base pay range for this position is $72,000 - $90,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close by July 24, 2026.
