Bullish Compliance is a second line of defense function that supports all of the Bullish businesses utilizing a global service model approach. We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to be based in Hong Kong to support its current and future operations. The successful candidate will have a compliance generalist and willing to cover a range of compliance topics using a solutions driven approach, including market integrity and financial crime prevention.
Role & Responsibilities

Work with the Head of Compliance and other stakeholders to improve, design and implement market surveillance control framework suitable for the group’s trading business, including crypto spot and derivatives trading, including reviewing and investigating market surveillance alerts, with appropriate escalation and reporting if necessary.

AML transaction monitoring and KYT screening.

Advisory to colleagues on financial crime escalations on topics such as customer onboarding, customer behavior, regulatory changes or other topics as relevant

Support the regular review and updating of policies and procedures

Assist in internal, external, regulatory and financial crime prevention audits

Support in firm-wide projects such as new products and business expansion

Operate in a dynamic and unstructured environment to support the delivery of multiple projects

Deliver as an individual and also as part of a global team
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field
-
At least 5 years of experience working in a financial services compliance environment such as banking, fintech, payments or insurance or in a legal environment with experience in advising on market integrity compliance matters and/or market integrity related regulatory enforcement actions in Hong Kong, UK, US or EU.

Proven experience in one or a combination of the following financial crime disciplines: AML, Sanctions, Fraud, market integrity and surveillance, and/or investigations, ideally with an exposure to virtual assets.

Prior transaction monitoring experience in one or more of the following areas: fiat monitoring, blockchain analytics, geolocation monitoring

Exposure to compliance technology software.

Can work effectively in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

With ICA Diploma/ ACAMS compliance qualifications will be desirable.
