SALARY:  $62,400 - $74,100, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

The Community Marketing Specialist will play a key role in bringing our community to life — from managing our national ambassador program to sparking connections in both our in-person and online spaces. You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Community Manager, Director of Social Media, and Social Media Manager to keep the BeatBox Fam engaged every day. This includes driving conversation in our online groups, managing ambassador relationships, handling outreach, and dreaming up fresh, creative ways to connect with fans.

We’re looking for someone with a positive, energetic energy who isn’t afraid to share bold ideas and think outside the box. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in community building and ambassador program management, and a passion for creating meaningful brand connections. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assisting with the BeatBox Ambassador Program: approving new applications, reviewing content, creating new challenges, redeeming rewards, and answering questions and addressing customer concerns. 

  • Creating community recap decks for internal teams.

  • Compiling monthly PR gifting lists for our fans and ambassadors.

  • Handling all festival data collection for the Field Marketing team.

  • Facebook Group moderation & post approval.

  • Monitor Instagram and TikTok DMs and comments to identify and recommend potential brand ambassadors in partnership with the social media team.

  • BeatBox Discord

    • Daily engagement and moderation

    • Managing channels and new roles

    • Assisting with live Q&A's and workshops

    • Hosting giveaways and seasonal campaigns

    • Researching new servers to collaborate with

  • Researching new affiliate/ambassadors platforms.

  • Conceptualize and propose fresh community efforts — from giveaways and sweepstakes to collabs and custom merch drops — that strengthen connections with our fans.

  • Develop and pitch innovative community marketing initiatives and activation ideas for the Field Marketing team to bring to life at national festivals and in key local markets.

  • Attend select strategic festivals and events to support community activations, facilitate Fam meet-ups, and capture engaging on-site content.

  • Assisting with various administrative duties and moderation for the Community department.

  • Community Building: Proficiency in building and nurturing online and in-person communities, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among members.

  • Engagement and Outreach: Ability to actively engage with community members daily and respond to inquiries with a positive, branded tone. Strong skills in outreach and recruiting new ambassadors.

  • Program Operations: Familiarity with assisting and supporting brand ambassador programs, and ensuring their successful execution.

  • Creative Engagement: Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and develop innovative ways to engage fans and ambassadors, driving loyalty and enthusiasm. 

  • Community Experience: 1-3 years of experience in community building and leveraging brand ambassadors to strengthen brand loyalty, with a desire to work in a fun and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

  • Confident Communication: Comfortable pitching and expressing ideas clearly to teammates and leadership.

  • Adaptability: Strong organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong communicator with the ability to connect quickly and clearly across multiple channels.

  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience, including internships, in community management, marketing, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in Micro Suite and productivity tools such as Asana and Teams.

  • Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, Discord).

  • Experience managing or actively participating in Discord communities or brand ambassador programs is a strong plus.

  • People-oriented mindset with a natural ability to build relationships, spark conversations, and foster community engagement.

  • Content creation skills (photo, video, or short-form social content) are a plus.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
