Job DescriptionTo drive tax compliance by monitoring and providing advice across the entire Standard Bank Group in order to minimise tax risks. To provide strong leadership and advisory services to stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the organisation's adherence to relevant legislation and regulations to protect and enhance Standard Bank's reputation and competitive advantage.

The role requires an incumbent with a deep level of understanding of the entire Finance value chain but specialist experience in Global Tax and Investment advisory. Experience in Banking and Financial Services across multiple jurisdictions is essential. Accounting systems knowledge - SAP and Financial IT systems would be required. Engaging and influencing senior leaders and providing tax advisory services.
