NurtureCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate skilled health care workers to provide complex healthcare support at a special educational needs school in multiple areas in Derby and Nottingham.
About the Role:
As a Skilled Healthcare Worker, you will work within the school environment, supporting pupils with a range of medical conditions, including:
✔️ Gastrostomy (PEG/NG) feeding
✔️ Oxygen therapy
✔️ Epilepsy management & seizure care
✔️ Personal care & mobility support
✔️Medication
✔️ Cough Assist

Skills Required
- Previous experience in healthcare, complex care, or SEND support
- Ability to perform gastrostomy (PEG/NG) feeding
- Experience with oxygen therapy and epilepsy/seizure management
- Ability to administer medication and use cough assist equipment
- Provide personal care and mobility support to pupils

- Willingness to undertake further specialist training
- Availability for mandatory training days on 2nd and 3rd September
- Availability to work between 08:00 and 16:00 during term time (flexible days available)
