The Opportunity

The Specialist, Continuous Improvement serves as an internal consultant and trusted advisor, partnering with leaders across Personal Insurance to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline business processes, and support the delivery of strategic priorities. Leveraging expertise in Lean Six Sigma, business process improvement, business analysis, performance measurement, and business enablement practices, the role identifies opportunities to solve complex business challenges and implement sustainable solutions. 
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the Specialist drives improvements that enhance customer and employee experiences, increase operational efficiency, and deliver measurable business results.

What to Expect

• Partner with business leaders to identify strategic priorities, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities. 
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, business process engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.  
• Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state design to improve service delivery, quality, and customer experience. 
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce complexity, improve controls, and increase operational capacity. 
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to leverage automation, workflow tools, and AI-enabled solutions. 
• Develop business cases, recommendations, executive presentations, and decision-support materials for stakeholders. 
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making. 
• Support initiative governance, business readiness activities, and benefits realization.
• Analyze business processes, value streams, workflows, operating models, and governance structures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

What you Bring

• University degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Operations Management, Technology, or a related field; advanced education is considered an asset. 
•  Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), PMP, CBAP, Agile (CSM, CSPO, SAFe), or Business Process Management are preferred. 
• 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, business analysis, consulting, or business process improvement roles. 
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups. 
• Strong facilitation, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and manage competing priorities. 
•  Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, operational performance, and organizational challenges to identify improvement opportunities. 
•  Experience developing and implementing process improvements, performance metrics, and sustainable business solutions. 
•  Experience within insurance, financial technology-enabled business improvement initiatives are considered an asset.

Salary Range: $73,500-$123,500
