Job Summary
We are looking for a Specialist Business Analyst in Public Sector Africa Regions Centre Offices to provide specialist advice and support in the development and implementation of business analysis and associated service delivery processes, methods and techniques.Job Description
- Support Africa Regions (AR) Bankers where required to deliver timely committee submissions by providing timely information required for Business Selection Committees (BSC), Sovereign Risk, Credit and other committees.
- Assist with BSC papers and business cases required for Credit especially in non-presence countries (NPC).
- Provide analysis to AR Centre Stakeholders and AR Bankers to understand the current performance against budget and track projections.
- Provide input for required Budgeting processes.
- Analyze client and transaction profitability using information obtained through various monthly reports processes.
- Assist AR Bankers by proactively identifying product cross/up selling opportunities.
- Identify innovative solution to all clients from a holistic banking perspective to ensure an ultimate consolidated client franchise contribution (CFC) for the bank.
- Proactively research AR clients and the industries to identify changes, trends and impacts to the sector.
- Extracts insights based on research to input in committee submissions and client plans.
- Proactively review the client plans on Salesforce and engage Bankers on any updates required or plans which are not aligned to the client’s and bank strategies.
- Accompany Bankers in client meetings, participate by taking notes, asking questions and hold prep sessions with Bankers ahead of client meetings.
- Ensure vigilant adherence to all controls with ongoing consideration and mitigation of risk. Understand my role in the business end to end processes, including applicable risks and controls and how this improves the service we provide to our customers.
- Help to understand why risk events/incidents/issues happened and identify how to prevent them in future - focusing on fixing root causes and taking ownership of identified actions.
- Proactively identify ways to improve the control environment by considering what could go wrong in the processes I operate and how errors could be prevented - focusing on fixing root causes and taking ownership of identified actions.
Education
