This is a hybrid operations and administration position combining problem-solving and process management rather than traditional accounts receivable or payable work. The role handles processes that have recently improved and will continue to evolve as Avis systems and procedures advance, requiring the successful candidate to adapt as new processes and tools are introduced.
What you´ll do:
Perform pre-audit checks on invoices prior to issuance, ensuring accuracy, contractual compliance, and billing quality.
Identify, investigate, and correct non-billable or contract-violating charges in line with company procedures and approval guidelines.
Prepare, reconcile, and maintain customer account schedules, validating invoice details and supporting financial reporting activities.
Manage and resolve invoice disputes, conducting investigations, gathering supporting evidence, and ensuring timely case closure within agreed SLAs.
Support customer-specific invoicing and reconciliation processes, including portal uploads, chargeback management, and AR reporting.
Process write-offs of uncollectible receivables in accordance with company policies, approval thresholds, and audit requirements.
Maintain complete and traceable documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping, audit compliance, and process transparency.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to manage requests, resolve issues, support continuous process improvement, and escalate risks when required.

Min. high school education (University or College degree is an advantage).
Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken); Portuguese and/or Spanish is an advantage.
Precision, attention to detail; accurate data entry across multiple systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office especially Excel (Basic-intermediate).
