Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment.  Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound.   We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas.  Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Job Description:
  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
  • Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
  • Recommend eligibility to obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date
  • Current BLS
