Responsibilities

-Responsible for obtaining imaging data in a manner prescribed by the Cardiologist.

-Familiarity with fluoroscopic, cardiac and radiographic equipment and other imaging systems.

-Documentation in GE MAC Lab and McKesson system.

Qualifications

-Two (2) years’ experience as an Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist with minimally one (1) year experience working in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite.

-New York State License as an X-ray Technologist, certification to inject per the requirements of section 89.40 of part 89.

-American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered).

-RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.

-Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology.

Skills Required

  • Two years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Technologist or X-ray Technologist
  • At least one year of experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
  • New York State license as an X-ray Technologist
  • Certification to inject under Section 89.40 of Part 89 requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered certification
