Lionsgate Academy’s mission is designed to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences and is seeking a mission-driven Special Education Programs Supervisor to lead our Center Based program. Salary range: $55,000-$75,000 (197 duty days)

Location: Shoreview, Minnesota
What You’ll Do:- Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based classrooms on the Shoreview Campus
- Direct student programming and supervise due process paperwork
- Actively coach and supervise teachers in behavior management
- Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
- Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
- A partner and visible presences for students, staff, and families

QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring:
- Current Minnesota teaching license
- 5 or more years working in Special Education including working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays
- Preferred: BCBA certification, experience with STAR, Attainments or other curriculum that addresses functional skills
- Preferred: 2 years or more as a Supervisor or informal Leader
- Experience with augmentative communication (AAC) devices
- Experience as an instructional coach/mentor for special education teacher

What We Do
Lionsgate Academy is a public charter school open to students of all abilities in grades 7 through 12, and also offers a transition program for students ages 18-22. Its program is inclusively designed to address the unique learning needs of students on the autism spectrum as well as students with other learning differences.
