Special Accounts Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SALES SPECIALIST:

• Manages an existing sustained customer base with a minimum sustained territory size of $5 million up to $15 million.

• Territory will include transactional and strategic accounts.

• Outside sales rep in the geographic territory of Northern IL, Northern OH and Michigan.

• Generates a minimum of 15% new profitable sales each fiscal year.

• Spends up to 50% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products.

• Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a bi-weekly basis.

• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED FOR THE SALES SPECIALIST:

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or a related discipline. High School Diploma required.

• 3-5 years of sales/relationship management experience.

PREFERRED FOR THE SALES SPECIALIST:

• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and arrive at good business decisions.

• Willingness to offer a dissenting viewpoint during group decision making.

• Professional business writing skills.

• Customer service orientation.
