KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops data reports and business processes that identify risk and opportunities for Applied spares business.
  • Collaborates with business unit and supply chain to manage a roadmap of CIP parts that address Applied's customers Highest Value Problems related to the value and performance of spares.
    • Identify gaps in spares portfolio, develop business case for new development
    • ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval
    • Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification), with Global Product Support
    • Provides guidance/input to Engineering and the Business Unit about the field service impact of part/supplier changes.
  • Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders.
  • Implementation of cost reduction roadmap
  • Manages strategic vendor issues that involve customer interactions and multi-organizational alignment

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.

Technical majors (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry) preferred

Industry Experience

  • 2-5+ years in Product Management, Product Line Management, Supply Chain, Semiconductor Equipment, Service Parts, or Operations.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment, aftermarket service, or spare parts for businesses.
  • Background working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and customers.

Business & Commercial Skills

  • Business case development and portfolio management.
  • P&L awareness and financial analysis.
  • Pricing strategy and product lifecycle management.
  • Market and competitive analysis.
  • Customer-focused decision making

Technical & Operational Skills

  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
  • Comfortable with applying AI tools
  • Engineering Change Order (ECO) review and approval experience.
  • Part Change Notification (PCN) implementation.
  • Familiar with Engineering Change Order and Customer change notification processes

Leadership Competencies

  • Influence without direct authority.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
