Job Description

Step Into Leadership: Become Our Spares Leading Hand!

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for warehouse operations? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to bring out the best in a team? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Spares Leading Hand to join our Blacktown site. In this key role, you’ll support the Spares, Receiving & Stores Team Leader by managing day-to-day operations, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and helping drive team development through training and support.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Leading and supporting your team to meet daily goals and KPIs
  • Processing internal and external orders with precision and speed
  • Coordinating pick packing, shipping, stock movements, and inventory tasks
  • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move stock
  • Upholding our high standards for safety and cleanliness (WHS compliance)
  • Engaging with stakeholders across Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Inventory Control
  • Assisting with training, administration, and cycle counts

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility, communicates well, and takes pride in making sure the warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid Forklift License (Essential)
  • 2+ years’ experience in Counterbalance and High Reach
  • Strong safety mindset and understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Teamwork, communication skills & Supervision
  • Accuracy, methodical work approach, and good numeracy
  • IT skills and ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods Handling
  • Flexibility in duties and awareness of customer deliverables and quality impact

Skills Required

  • Valid Forklift License
