All about the role:
You are a part of Spares & C&A planning team of ANZ, responsible to plan inventory for Spare Parts, Consumables & Accessories for the home appliance business and will play a vital role in the success of delivering better consumer experiences.
The Spares & C&A Planner will be responsible to plan inventory for a market or multiple markets using statistical forecast as a baseline combined with demand input from market. Performance is measured by striking a balance between Availability & Inventory and avoidance of obsolescence.
What you'll do:
Monitor backorder and risk of run-out situation at warehouse and ensure purchase orders are placed and/or working with supplier to bring forward the shipment. Once Urgency is taken care of, continue with strategic planning and ensure that order proposals are aligned with the stockholding policy and market demand.
Performance indicators play a vital part of the scope, and you will report & analyze them on a regular basis and this will serve as a baseline for your improvement actions. Work closely with all suppliers is essential to ensure order are dispatched on agreed timings.
Take part in different continuous improvement activities together with your team, improving processes and methodologies.
In detail, you will:
Responsible for planning of inventory in market/markets with key performance indicators being availability, logistics cost, inventory, backorder recovery lead-time and obsolescence
Analyze and adjust the parameters in planning tool to provide the most efficient order proposals
Coordinate transport bookings for purchase orders
Regularly review and report on performance and take actions proactively
Continuously improve the ways of working together with team
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and implement planning related projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management
At least 3-5 years relevant working experience, preferably from appliances or automotive industry is considered an advantage
SAP experience is considered a plus
Experience with sophisticated planning tools, Syncron inventory is considered an advantage
Excellent Understanding of different material planning strategies
Analytical skills and drive actions based on facts in a structured way
Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to get message across to different levels of an organization both internally and externally
Takes initiative to solve problems and drive until completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Ability to represent the organization with integrity and professionalism
Fluent in English both written & spoken
