The Role:

We are currently seeking a Spa Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. A our Spa Manager, you will have excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. You are responsible for managing staff, developing and implementing spa policies and procedures, creating and managing budgets, and ensuring that the spa meets its revenue targets. You will also oversee the development of new spa treatments, the marketing of the spa, and the management of customer relations.

What we will ask of you:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, staff management, and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service is provided to clients, addressing any complaints or concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Hiring and training spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and support personnel, to ensure they are knowledgeable, skilled, and able to deliver exceptional service.
  • Developing and managing the spa's budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. This may involve online and offline marketing, promotions, and special events.
  • Overseeing spa supplies, products, and equipment, and ensuring an adequate inventory is maintained for smooth operations.
  • Ensuring that the spa complies with all health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and providing a safe environment for both clients and staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable contracts for spa products and equipment.
  • Collaborating with therapists and staff to develop a diverse and appealing menu of services and treatments to meet the needs and preferences of clients.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for spa staff, providing feedback, and offering opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the spa facility, ensuring it is well-maintained and meets the highest standards.
  • Overseeing spa retail.
  • Setting and Achieving Business Goals: Developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives, such as increasing revenue, expanding the client base, or introducing new services.
  • Keeping abreast of trends in the spa and wellness industry, including new treatments, products, and customer preferences.
  • Perform spa services when needed.
  • Ensuring the spa operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment laws and health codes.
  • Responsible for ordering, inventory, and quality control of products. Including Lot7 and locker room shower products. 

Requirements for Success:

  • Relevant spa management experience required.
  • Speaks with and responds to guests regarding service challenges while showing compassion.
  • Ensure work performed is to the standard and culture of the IRHG.
  • Analyzing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating
  • Responding to guests needs and anticipating their unstated ones.
  • Communicate with guests prior to arrival and while in house, anticipating their needs.
  • Communicate efficiently with all team members and leadership.
  • Proactive, takes initiative; creatively problem solves, exercises good judgment; attention to details; anticipates and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.
