Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Senior Director of Spa to lead an exceptional spa experience in a luxury setting. Nestled in the scenic foothills of Southern California, our award-winning spa offers an extensive array of treatments and services designed to provide ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive excellence in guest experience, team leadership, and business strategy. What you will do
Supervise all staff of spa and salon to ensure all day-to-day standards and procedures are adhered to and delivered at the highest level.
Facilitate training and evaluations of all spa & salon staff.
Ensure all administration duties including but not limited to payroll, scheduling and expense/supply are maintained and effective.
Assist in training new staff for all positions.
Assist in greeting guests/members at entrance and properly register all hotel guests and guests of members.
Offer orientation of the facility.
Assist in making spa reservations, check in spa guests, and offer recommendations or descriptions of spa services as necessary.
Handle all member/guests interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with membership or hotel services.
What you bring
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Minimum 5 years management experience in a luxury Spa.
Consistently exceeds expectations as Spa Director
Demonstrates superior knowledge of spa, wellness and holistic modalities
Thorough knowledge of 5-star service standards, effective application of spa staffing models, proven ability to create and implement spa service menus, effective retail management, successful marketing strategies, and demonstrated ability to project costs, revenue and to adhere to the budget that supports monthly / annual financials
High peer credibility
Previous experience preferred as a hands-on therapist such as massage therapist, esthetician, acupuncturist etc.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
