ABOUT OUR ROLE 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Spa Director. The Spa Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and profitability of the spa operation. This role oversees daily operations, staff performance, guest experience, revenue generation, and adherence to brand and service standards. The Spa Director ensures the spa delivers exceptional wellness experiences while meeting financial and operational goals.

ESSENTIAL 

FUNCTIONS 


  • Oversee all daily spa operations including treatments, retail, fitness, and wellness services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue through services, retail sales, memberships, and packages.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise spa therapists, estheticians, attendants, and support staff.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and ensure a luxury wellness experience for all guests.
  • Manage spa reservations, treatment schedules, and staffing levels to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and expense control.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of spa products, retail items, linens, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
  • Develop and maintain spa menus, seasonal offerings, and wellness programs.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to promote spa services, packages, and events.
  • Address guest concerns and ensure timely service recovery when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of all spa facilities.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics.


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of spa management or luxury hospitality leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of spa operations, wellness services, and retail product sales.
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue strategies, and operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with spa management or property management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to move throughout spa facilities including treatment rooms, locker areas, and retail spaces.

SCHEDULE

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
