The Strategic Planning function at Rappi is responsible for delivering top and bottom line for the company. The Local Strategic Planning Director is responsible for a significant portion of that delivery. The role reports directly into the Head of Strategic Planning, and will have a dotted line to the Country Manager. Building top down goals matching with bottom up plans developed together with the business. Developing profound understanding of progress and unblocking teams to achieve targets. This position requires strong business sense and financial knowledge to enable team results.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

  • Become Market experts: Become an expert on market specific nuances, competitive landscape and country/city specific strategies.

  • Become thought leaders: Develop close and deep relationships with business and product owners. Become the go-to person when it comes to strategic thinking, input metrics relationships and budget allocation 

  • Elevate finance as a critical portion of decision making process: Develop investment frameworks, coach teams, involve leadership 

  • Strategic Planning Director responsibilities:

  • Define and align Rappi’s top down goals, prioritize most important company initiatives with a data driven approach.

  • Track weekly performance vs plan, with strong understanding of what the business is going through, and what should be the priorities for to come back to plan if needed.

  • Originate insights that materialize in actions that enable teams to hit goals. Develop a profound expertise on core areas becoming thoughtful business partners.

  • Allocate scarce resources fairly based on strategic priorities.

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in consulting or related, preferably MBB. Strategic finance at tech companies, investment banking, venture capital and private equity candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to lead by influence, and lead a high performing team.

  • Extensive project management and leadership skills. 

  • Experience with the design and execution of data analysis as well as leading with data-driven decision making.

  • Proven experience managing conflicting priorities and multiple stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication skills. Including written documents, presentations, and ability to transmit complex ideas to executives.

  • Eagerness to work in a very fast paced, rapidly evolving, performance driven environment.

  • Proficient English and Spanish or Portuguese.
