Job Description

We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused South East Account Manager to support and grow our customer base across Melbourne's South East region, working closely with our Hallam and Kilsyth branches.

This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with transport operators, workshops, fleet businesses and trade customers to build long-term relationships, identify growth opportunities and deliver exceptional service. You'll play a key role in driving sales growth while acting as a trusted advisor to your customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across your territory.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the transport and heavy vehicle market.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, account reviews and business development activities.
  • Promote Truckline's extensive range of truck and trailer parts solutions.
  • Work closely with the Hallam and Kilsyth branch teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Provide market insights and identify opportunities to increase market share.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity through CRM systems.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to support business growth

Qualifications

You are a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs and delivering results.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience in account management, territory sales or business development.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
  • A proven ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Experience within the truck, transport, automotive aftermarket or related industries will be highly regarded
