The South-Central Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, distributor performance, market execution, brand visibility, and experiential marketing initiatives throughout the South-Central region. This highly visible leadership role combines traditional adult beverage sales management with the planning, coordination, and execution of consumer, trade, and VIP events throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading distributor business reviews, securing chain placements, and representing the brand at festivals, concerts, and industry events. This role requires a strong understanding of the three-tier system, event management, customer development, and brand-building. 

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute regional sales and commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability, and volume performance across the South-Central region

· Deliver annual sales, depletion, shipment, distribution, and KPI objectives through disciplined business planning, forecasting, and execution. 

· Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions that improve business results. 

· Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership, broker partners, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with company objectives. 

· Conduct regular distributor business reviews and maintain accountability, investment effectiveness, inventory management, and growth initiatives. 

· Develop and maintain strategic relationships with regional chains, independent retailers, on-premise operators, and key accounts to increase distribution, visibility, and sales performance. Drive marketplace execution through merchandising, displays, menu placements, sampling programs, pricing initiatives, promotional activations, and point-of-sale support. 

· Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align commercial priorities and maximize return on investment across sales and promotional programs. 

· Support the execution of an annual calendar of regional entertainment, consumer engagement, trade marketing, community, throughout the South-Central region.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of      education and experience.
  • 5+ years of beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related industry experience.
  • 5+ years leading multi-state sales teams, distributor networks, or regional markets.
  • Proven success managing wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the three-tier system and beverage alcohol industry.
  • Experience developing and executing business plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing strategy, ROI analysis, margin management, and P&L      understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively.

Preferred

  • Supplier-side beverage alcohol experience.
  • Experience with national accounts and large multi-unit chains.
  • Background in business analytics, sales planning, and category management.
  • Experience managing distributor transitions, underperforming markets, and route-to-market strategies.

Physical Requirements

  • Extensive travel, approximately 60-90%, including overnight travel, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct retail and market visits throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull product samples and promotional materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to conduct customer presentations and field training sessions.

Skills Required
