JOB PURPOSE
The SUIT Engineer is responsible for supporting innovations, renovations, and change management activities within the Dressings & Savoury factory. The role ensures smooth deployment of new products, processes, and technologies while driving loss elimination, line stability, and cost optimization through structured engineering, quality, and focused improvement methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Innovation, Renovation & Change Management
- Support innovation and renovation projects including new product introductions, VIP projects, product transfers, rollouts, recipe changes, and line extensions.
- Support change management to ensure technical and operational readiness for deployment.
- Work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain teams.
Early Equipment Management (EEM) & Vertical Start-Up
- Support the Early Equipment Management (EEM) Pillar to enable Vertical Start-Up of projects.
- Ensure trials are executed per the approved trial plan.
- Support validation of process improvements and revised basic conditions on the line.
Continuous Improvement & Loss Elimination
- Apply Focused Improvement, Quality, and EEM methodologies to eliminate losses related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Customer Service, and Logistics.
- Use data-driven and structured problem-solving methods.
- Support transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams through improved line stability.
Quality, Validation & Documentation
- Support Quality in Innovation for Manufacturing activities including statistical analysis and risk assessment.
- Ensure alignment of BOMs and batch sheets.
- Maintain project documentation such as technical risk assessments, batch sheets, and trial reports.
Technical & Engineering Support
- Prepare machine, process, and stream specifications.
- Support machinery and process project management networks.
- Provide technical guidance on materials conversion processes.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
- Experience in Quality in Innovation for Manufacturing.
- Ability to prepare machine and process specifications.
- Strong understanding of materials conversion processes.
- Willing to work in General Trias, Cavite
