Essential Functions
- Oversee, review and sign off (final approval) on the destination presentation(s)from the Sourcing Manager
- Monitor, review and ensure the sourcing process and SOPs are followed to allow the best end results. If/when it is not being followed make modifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coach and counsel direct reports on Sourcing’s key policies.
- Research and evaluate long list and suggest hotels to include and/or target for additional negotiations.
- Responsible for examining the destination presentation(s) for accuracy of hotel information. Must ensure collected hotel proposals are properly negotiated for rates, commission and crew benefits.
- Utilize Microsoft products and Adobe to create, update and store collected data.
- Implement improvements to the sourcing process to best serve our clients.
- Other job duties may be assigned to the Sourcing Supervisor when needed, based on the client’s or API’s needs. This will be communicated directly by his/her supervisor.

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, normal core business hours. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree
- Ability to positively present API in customer facing situations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work is a must.
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills, with emphasis on Excel.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work with and understand diverse cultures here and abroad.
- An organized self-starter who can work proactively and independently.
- Able to multi task and work well under strict deadlines and fast paced environment.
