Role SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Procurement & Logistics Specialist with strong market awareness and international sourcing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing procurement operations, coordinating with planning and logistics teams, and driving cost-effective sourcing strategies in alignment with business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Supplier Research:
Conduct market research across local and international markets as assigned by the Marketing Coordinator.
Identify and evaluate new suppliers; support supplier mapping and cross-trading initiatives within the group.
Monitor market trends, innovations, and competitor activities relevant to packaging and raw materials.
Procurement Coordination:
Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to place, track, and manage purchase orders.
Maintain and update supplier information and contract details in the ERP system.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
Support continuous improvement in sourcing processes and cost optimization.
Data Management & Reporting:
Create and maintain supplier and customer data, including accurate address and contact information.
Compile sales and purchasing data, perform statistical analyses, and prepare regular reports for leadership.
Communicate market intelligence and procurement performance updates to the Regional Manager and other stakeholders.
Quality & Compliance:
Adhere to the Quality Assurance system and contribute to the development of procedures and internal controls.
Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and sustainability goals.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and/or logistics, preferably in an industrial or packaging environment.
Experience in local and international sourcing, and a strong understanding of supplier management.
Skills & Competencies:
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Collaborative team player with a proactive, learning-oriented attitude.
