As a Sourcing Specialist, IM&S Procurement SEA at MSD, you will partner with IM&S Procurement organization. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Regional Manager, IM&S Procurement SEA.

Category Execution & Operational Procurement

  • Execute sourcing and procurement activities for South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Philiphines and Indonesia across IM&S categories, including ICT, Real Estate, Facility & Waste Management, Office, Marketing, PPE, MRO, Lab Equipment, Lab Supplies, Fleet & Cars, Utilities, and Prof. Services (Travel, Consultancy, Audits & Certification, HR, Temp Work).

  • Manage end-to-end PR-to-PO processes, supplier communications, vendor registration, catalog management, etc.

  • Support category strategies defined at the regional level and ensure local execution alignment.

On-Site Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary on-site/off-site procurement contact for South Korea and above listed SEA countries' business stakeholders.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal users across functions and provide guidance on procurement policies, processes, and supplier options.

  • Conduct early engagement with requestors to influence specifications, optimize cost outcomes, and ensure compliance.

Supplier Management & Sourcing Support

  • Manage local supplier relationships, conduct supplier performance monitoring, and report corrective actions where needed.

  • Support sourcing projects, RFQs, and negotiations under the guidance of the Sr. Regional Manager.

  • Identify and develop local suppliers to strengthen the vendor base. Support supplier consolidation and cost saving initiatives.

Procurement Governance & Compliance

  • Execute vendor onboarding, qualification, and compliance checks in line with company policies.

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal governance standards, approval workflows, and audit requirements.

  • Support Sr. Regional Manager for supplier contracts and commitments.

Process Excellence & Reporting

  • Manage all SAP Ariba procurement processes for responsible countries.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier master data, and contract documentation.

  • Support spend reporting, saving tracking, and KPI reporting for the entities.

• Travel Requirements: Up to [30] % of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:

  • Experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or operational buying.

  • Working knowledge of major indirect categories such as MRO, facility services, IT, office, PPE, or professional services.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in an on-site role.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and business English.
