Job Summary:

The Sourcing & Procurement Manager is responsible for executing the company’s sourcing and procurement strategy, ensuring cost optimization, supplier performance, and contract compliance.

This role combines strategic sourcing with hands-on procurement execution, acting as a key partner for internal stakeholders to ensure efficient purchasing processes and alignment with business objectives..

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Strategy & Execution

  • Support the definition and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives across assigned categories and spend areas.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and value optimization initiatives.
  • Conduct market analysis to support supplier selection and sourcing decisions.

Supplier Management & Negotiation

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and ensure performance against agreed KPIs (cost, quality, delivery).
  • Lead RFQ processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Support supplier risk assessment and mitigation activities.

Procurement Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring timely purchasing and contract execution.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with project and business needs.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization in procurement workflows.

Cost Control & Performance Management

  • Track procurement KPIs and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Support budget control and spend visibility across categories.
  • Analyze pricing trends and supplier proposals to ensure competitiveness.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external requirements.
  • Identify risks related to suppliers, contracts, and market conditions, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on contract management and compliance topics.

Stakeholder Management & Team Support

  • Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to support business needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior procurement team members (if applicable).
  • Contribute to building a performance-driven and collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing roles.
  • Strong experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
  • Experience working in international environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (C1).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or specialization in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Background in industrial or renewable energy sector.
  • Procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
