Key responsibilities include analyzing spend and market data to identify sourcing opportunities, cost savings, supplier consolidation, and demand management actions; supporting supplier network initiatives to reduce total cost, improve service, mitigate risk, and strengthen supply continuity; and executing procurement strategies in line with corporate guidelines and market conditions.
The role also leads supplier selection through RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes, manages commercial negotiations and contract implementation, and oversees supplier contracts, service levels, compliance, renewals, and performance expectations. In addition, it supports procurement operations for assigned categories and stakeholders, including requisition-to-purchase activities, supplier coordination, issue resolution, and continuity of supply and services.
Success in this role requires close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders such as Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Logistics, IT, HR, EHS, Facilities, and Plant Leadership. The position also provides Mexico market expertise, supports budgeting and forecasting, tracks sourcing pipelines and savings delivery, drives process improvement, ensures policy and DoA compliance, supports audits, and collaborates with regional and global category leaders. Approximately 15% is required.
