WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead, develop, and empower supply team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and individual growth.
Own the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans for indirect categories and key suppliers, fully aligned with overall business objectives.
Apply AI-driven insights and digital tools to enhance sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and cost optimization decisions.
Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities across sourcing processes to improve efficiency, governance, and category performance.
Lead supplier selection and contract negotiations through a global search; agreements may range from tactical pricing to complex, long‑term strategic partnerships across indirect spend categories.
Serve as the primary owner for building and managing strong supplier relationships. Actively manage the indirect supply base with cross‑functional engagement and support.
Implement and execute procurement processes that deliver cost, service, and volume targets across indirect spend focused on Capital Machinery and Equipment.
Drive continuous improvement in sourcing governance, supplier performance, and total cost of ownership within indirect categories.
YOU HAVE:
BS / BA degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, MBA preferred.
8-10 years of experience in a large, complex purchasing or procurement organization, with demonstrated success in indirect sourcing environments.
Ability to apply AI and digital tools to enhance decision-making, sourcing strategy development, and supplier performance management.
Fluency in English and Spanish language preferred, particularly for supplier engagement and collaboration in Mexico and global environments.
IVALUA desirable experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, data basic pivot tables).
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, influence cross‑functionally, and operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments.
Strong negotiation skills, including experience negotiating multi‑million‑dollar contracts.
Familiarity with categories such as MRO, CapEx and Facility services is a plus.
Ability to travel a minimum of 10%.
