What You Will Do:

• Cultivate a strong working relationship with the client by effectively communicating details of the program, anticipating client’s needs, and providing an elevated level of customer service.
• Meet with clients to discuss the vision of their event and hotel/venue wish list.
• Expertly RFP the perfect properties for your client. Proficient in negotiations to acquire the absolute best deal for the client.
• Remain the point person for the hotel and client throughout the contracting process, ensuring the contract is completed with a cherry on top.
• Possess organizational skills to orchestrate logistics with finesse and have a curiosity about keeping every detail under control.
• Skilled at establishing relationships. Cultivate positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and teammates, creating a network of invaluable connections. Creative, proactively anticipate changes, and build innovative solutions.
• Coordinate and attend global site inspections when needed.

• Complete understanding on the functionality of Cvent in order to advise and educate client users

• Negotiate the best possible rates and program concessions for the component of SMM Procurement, improving client supplier relationships, applying processes and procedures outlined in the client agreements

• Be knowledgeable of the client contract process, their legal addendum, ensuring client is appropriately informed of and represented in all terms and conditions contained within. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Venue sourcing experience over the last 3-5 years.
• Incredible communication skills to articulate vision, encourage, and empower.
• Vast experience with Cvent and are not afraid of technology! Passion for creating presentations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated at meeting timeline expectations.
• Self-starter, love to laugh, and manage the journey.
• Problem-solving mind that can handle any unexpected twist.
• Possess organizational superpowers.
• Travel is your passion and you are excited to head to destinations worldwide. Travel is expected and amount may vary.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience. CMP preferred, but not expected.
• Passion for providing unparalleled levels of hospitality and consultative service.

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
