Sourcing Manager

What you’ll do:

• Drive internal relationships, win through influence, and create strong alliances between the Global Sourcing Group, and other Internal Equifax customers. 

• Develop, prepare and negotiate pricing and contractual business terms and conditions for new contracts, contract renewals and amendments  

• Enable achievement of targeted cost savings for the global initiatives through sourcing strategy development, refinement and execution

• Manage the RFx process including requirements gathering, vendor bidding, evaluation process and final down-selection and contracting. Perform pricing analysis and solution evaluation for assigned sourcing opportunities

• Conduct supply market research associated with all aspects of assigned categories (e.g., opportunity assessment, strategy development, initiative execution)

What you'll bring:

• Managing outsourcing and / or procurement functions, relationships and responsibilities

• Internal customer engagement and influence skills

• Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or university or commensurate experience

• 4-7 years’ experience in sourcing and contract management of various goods & services 

• Understanding of master services and statement of work contractual legal and business terms

• Application Development and Maintenance as well as IT Infrastructure support knowledge including demonstrable experience of various outsourcing solutions (Outsource, Captive, Shared Services knowledge is preferable)

• Understanding of IT market environments and emerging trends relating to complex contract negotiations and contract development with a broad analytical skills to help resolve vendor management issues, conduct research, pricing analysis

• Experience managing commercial relationships with a broad range of vendors in terms of size of the vendor (i.e., revenue), complexity of services/products, and spend amount

• Measurable negotiated savings, both in terms of real dollars and as a percentage of spend

• Experience developing category strategies and rationalizing a supplier base

• Experience with procurement, sourcing and contract management systems

What could set you apart:

• Preferred experience in the financial sector or a heavily regulated industry

• Experience working for a global organization.  International project experience is a plus

• PMP or Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP)certification
