Our channel has over 18 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our biggest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 350 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

Role Information: 

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team as we grow within the consumer products, collectibles, and apparel industries. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality materials and products at competitive prices. 

The Sourcing Manager will play a crucial role in driving supply chain efficiency, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and aligning sourcing strategies with the company’s goals. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of evaluating market trends and supplier capabilities to maximise value and minimise risks. 

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your duties will include:

• Collaborate with the leadership and product development team to implement sourcing strategies to optimise cost, quality, and speed for all Glitch products;
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on capability, performance, quality standards, and price competitiveness;
• Support the product development team to drive the product development process in terms of communicating product specifications, and suggesting the right materials and manufacturing techniques, to ensure the product design is both cost efficient and compliant with the different legal requirements in individual territories;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the various business partners and suppliers to understand business needs and priorities and develop optimal solutions to support;
• Drive product quality assurance process. Work with supplier and testing institutions to understand different market’s testing protocols and ensure our products can pass safety testing and meet the compliance requirements;
• Manage quality performance of Glitch products, develop metrics to measure, and set up inspection process to improve;
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to maintain consistent supply and resolve any sourcing issues;
• Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and manufacturing technologies.

A successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the toys or consumer goods industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• In-depth understanding of sourcing methodologies, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and supplier capabilities.
• Familiarity with product safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the toys industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams and with external partners.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
