As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories, including construction, facilities services, capital equipment, manufacturing equipment, MRO, professional services, utilities, and general business operations. You will work closely with engineering, facilities, operations, finance, legal, and program teams to ensure the business has the suppliers, contracts, and commercial structures necessary to scale efficiently.
This role requires a combination of strategic sourcing expertise, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiation, project management, and operational execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing ambiguity, building supplier networks from the ground up, and driving measurable value through cost, quality, delivery, and risk improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple indirect procurement categories including:
    • Construction and general contractors
    • Facilities maintenance and site services
    • Capital equipment and manufacturing equipment
    • MRO and industrial supplies
    • Professional and technical services
    • Utilities and infrastructure services
    • Corporate indirect spend categories
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and supplier selection activities
  • Manage RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and service objectives
  • Partner with facilities, engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support site expansion projects, facility upgrades, capital investments, and operational initiatives
  • Negotiate commercial terms, statements of work, service agreements, pricing structures, payment milestones, warranties, and service-level agreements
  • Manage supplier relationships from initial engagement through contract execution and ongoing performance management
  • Partner with legal and finance teams to develop and negotiate contractual frameworks that appropriately balance risk and business objectives
  • Support capital expenditure planning through supplier engagement, budgetary quotations, lead-time analysis, and project execution support
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, improve supplier performance, shorten lead times, and increase operational efficiency

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, vendor management, strategic sourcing, construction procurement, capital equipment procurement, facilities procurement, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements and supplier contracts
  • Demonstrated experience managing RFQs, RFPs, supplier selection processes, and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience sourcing within two or more of the following categories:
    • Construction and facilities projects
    • Manufacturing or industrial equipment
    • Capital equipment
    • Facilities maintenance and service contracts
    • Industrial services
    • Professional services
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial, energy, technology, or construction environments
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience developing supplier strategies and managing supplier performance
  • Understanding of project-based procurement and capital expenditure management
  • Ability to analyze complex supplier proposals, contracts, and cost structures
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • ERP, procurement, or sourcing system experience
Additional Requirements: 
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical business objectives
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% as required
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and aggressive schedules
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.

Skills Required
