Leads Impulse Space’s non-destructive testing program for aerospace hardware, managing NDT personnel, technical strategy, inspection methods, procedures, equipment, supplier oversight, training, and compliance. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and materials teams to define inspection requirements and disposition nonconformances. Builds internal capabilities, manages outsourced providers, improves process repeatability, and supports budgets, facilities, and long-term capability planning for flight and development hardware.

Lead design, analysis, testing, and implementation of in-house liquid propulsion components and subsystems. Plan and execute tests (engine hotfire, valve functional), perform thermal-fluids and materials trades, resolve technical issues, and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to deliver flight hardware.

Owns spacecraft navigation and state-estimation systems across development and operations. Designs and validates Kalman filters, sensor and measurement models, orbit and attitude determination, astrodynamic analyses, covariance studies, and navigation error budgets. Implements C++ flight software, supports SIL/HIL testing, conducts Monte Carlo analyses, generates verification data, and provides real-time operations and anomaly response support for missions in LEO, GEO, and cislunar space.

Supports manufacturing engineering for space-grade components and vehicles, including process development, fabrication and assembly technique evaluation, inspection process creation, hardware improvements, and technical issue resolution. Works with design and development teams to transition hardware from test articles to high-volume production.

Lead build reliability for machined spacecraft hardware by preventing and diagnosing defects, developing inspection criteria, guiding design-for-reliability, performing development testing, optimizing ERP/MRP traceability, training technicians, and driving corrective actions to ensure hardware and mission reliability.

Owns industrial CT inspection for aerospace flight hardware, including technique development, validation, acceptance criteria, data interpretation, procedures, equipment commissioning, supplier oversight, and compliance. Partners with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve inspectability and defect detection. Supports failure investigations, nonconformance dispositions, CT capability development, and flight hardware record traceability. Trains and mentors NDT personnel and serves as the technical authority for CT operations.

Leads the Mission Design and Flight Dynamics team, owning technical direction, hiring, mission analysis, trajectory optimization, navigation architectures, orbit determination, maneuver planning, flight dynamics operations, automation, customer proposals, and regulatory support across LEO, GEO, cislunar, and interplanetary missions.

Manage supplier quality and component performance across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include qualifying parts, overseeing vendor manufacturing, resolving non-conformances, managing SDR, MRB, RTV, and CAPA processes, conducting root cause analysis, supporting containment actions, and improving supplier quality systems. The role collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and suppliers, provides onsite technical support, and requires up to 25% travel.

Leads spacecraft system architecture, technical direction, engineering trade studies, risk management, readiness reviews, certification, anomaly resolution, and mission success across the full product lifecycle. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, testing, mission operations, executives, customers, government stakeholders, launch providers, and external partners to deliver reliable spacecraft systems.

Own spacecraft-level autonomous behavior across all mission phases, including autonomy architecture, fault management, safing, recovery logic, mode transitions, and decision boundaries. Coordinate autonomy across flight software, GNC, avionics, and ground systems; define interfaces; configure mission automations; and drive system-level verification using SIL, HIL, and mission simulations. Support integration, testing, and mission operations for safety-critical spacecraft systems.

Supports spacecraft development from initial design through production ramp-up. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system-level studies, risk mitigation, engineering process development, customer documentation, and system-level test planning and execution. The role collaborates with subsystem, integration, test, and program teams to resolve technical issues and improve spacecraft reliability, efficiency, and production scalability.

Design and release complex multilayer PCBs for space vehicles, including component placement, routing, stack-up design, signal and power integrity, EMI/EMC, fabrication documentation, DRC/LVS, and DFM reviews. Collaborate with electrical, RF, mechanical, test, firmware, manufacturing, and fabrication teams. Maintain PCB libraries, footprints, design standards, revision control, and documentation while ensuring IPC compliance and manufacturability.

Develops, integrates, and operates spacecraft testbeds for mission simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Responsibilities include avionics integration, harness and interface installation, custom load-board design, electrical test hardware validation, and full-stack test program deployment. The role collaborates with software and GNC teams to improve testing and deployment pipelines, requiring embedded systems testing, electronics debugging, scripting, Linux, networking, and monitoring experience.

Develop and maintain visualization tools for spacecraft simulations, mission demonstrations, test support, and camera-system emulation. Build high-fidelity models for vision-system development and testing, create graphical displays for spacecraft telemetry and sensor data, improve simulation workflows, and support mission rehearsals and operations. Collaborate with GNC, Space Operations, Mission Design, Business Development, and Testbed teams.

Design and realize spacecraft propulsion components from concept through production: create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings, perform fluid/thermal/structural analysis, support procurement, fabrication, assembly and testing, provide technical test support, and resolve technical issues.

Leads guidance, navigation, and control engineering for highly maneuverable spacecraft across development and operations. Architects GNC flight, test, and analysis systems; develops control algorithms and simulation software; directs hardware and software design reviews; coordinates vehicle-level trade studies; interfaces with partners and customers; resolves technical issues; and mentors engineers. The role requires extensive spacecraft control design experience, MATLAB and C++ proficiency, spacecraft operations knowledge, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Owns the reliability and operation of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises datacenters and cloud environments. Administers Windows and Linux systems, virtualization, identity, storage, backup, and endpoint platforms; leads complex incident response, troubleshooting, lifecycle upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Develops automation, improves provisioning and maintenance workflows, supports security and compliance requirements, maintains documentation and runbooks, performs root cause analysis, and mentors junior administrators.
