Lead and grow manufacturing teams to support vehicle hardware builds (assembly, composites, welding, tubing, turbopumps, tanks). Drive manufacturability, KPIs, production targets, capability expansion, training, reliability, and collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain.

Design, analyze, build, and test turbomachinery for liquid rocket engines including 1-D sizing and detailed flowpath design for inducers, impellers, turbines, and secondary fluid paths; perform structural and rotor-dynamics analyses; ensure manufacturability and support turbopump assembly, manufacturing, and testing.

Lead liquid rocket propulsion test operations, design and operate test stands, develop test procedures and DAQ/control systems, troubleshoot hardware, build fluid/mechanical/electrical systems, improve processes, and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and maintain high-fidelity physics-based simulations of space vehicle dynamics, sensors, actuators, and propulsion. Integrate simulations with HIL testbeds, validate models against test data, support system-level analysis, verification, and mission planning, and contribute simulation tools.

Lead full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering and operations roles: source, screen, interview, extend offers, manage pipelines, partner with hiring managers, improve processes, and drive recruiting metrics and candidate experience.

Support mechanical design of spacecraft optical systems (lens barrels, telescope structures, mounts, baffles, mechanisms). Turn optical concepts into flight hardware through CAD modeling, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, BOMs, assembly procedures, and test fixture design while collaborating with optical engineers from concept through qualification.

Lead propulsion component manufacturing from concept through prototype, qualification, and production. Develop assembly/test instructions, design fixtures and tooling, collaborate with design and shop teams, troubleshoot manufacturing/test issues, and expand in-house production and test capabilities to enable scalable, reliable propulsion hardware.

Design and implement end-to-end satellite communication modems from DSP blocks to network protocols, analyze timing and resource needs for RF products, build FPGA-SoC libraries, create test harnesses integrated into CI/CD, and collaborate with RF software engineers to deliver high-throughput FPGA blocks for space and ground systems.

Operate and support propulsion test campaigns at Mojave, serving as console operator; plan and execute development and qualification tests; develop procedures and automation; configure and verify propulsion hardware, instrumentation, and DAQ; analyze performance data; conduct readiness, hazard, and post-test reviews; collaborate with design engineers to improve engines, stands, and GSE while maintaining operational discipline and safety.

Design, build, commission, and maintain propulsion test stands and ground support equipment for cryogenic propulsion systems. Plan preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/fluid/electrical/instrumentation issues, support root-cause investigations and safety/hazard analyses, maintain P&IDs and facility documentation, and promote operational excellence during test operations.

Lead build reliability for machined spacecraft hardware by preventing and diagnosing defects, developing inspection criteria, guiding design-for-reliability, performing development testing, optimizing ERP/MRP traceability, training technicians, and driving corrective actions to ensure hardware and mission reliability.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies across indirect categories (construction, facilities, capital equipment, MRO, services). Lead RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. Partner with engineering, facilities, finance, legal, and operations to support capital projects and continuous improvement, driving cost, quality, delivery, and risk improvements.

Develop and sustain manufacturing processes, work instructions, MBOMs and tooling for spacecraft mechanical subassemblies. Support assembly, test, root-cause analysis, ECOs, production readiness, design reviews, and cross-functional coordination to meet flight-quality standards and schedules.

Lead vehicle assembly and integration from build start to launch readiness. Coordinate across structures, propulsion, avionics, software, firmware, and test teams; develop and execute system-level tests; drive integration, test readiness, anomaly resolution, configuration control, schedule management, and design feedback.

Program and optimize CNC machining (3- and 5-axis) using various CAM packages, produce hardware on multiple controls, manage tool libraries, design rapid fixtures, suggest manufacturability improvements, and keep production flowing with continuous process improvements.

Own all aspects of the Deneb propulsion system from concept to product realization: design engine components and layouts, create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings, perform fluid/thermal/structural analysis, coordinate procurement/fabrication/assembly, and resolve technical issues to enable flight hardware.

Lead standardization and implementation of design processes across structures, propulsion, avionics, composites, and mechanisms. Define margining, configuration management, release workflows (CAD→PLM→MRP/ERP), review templates, and design-for-reliability practices. Create tools for traceability and use build/flight data to influence requirements. Drive quality, containment, corrective actions, and cross-functional problem solving with build, quality, and flight reliability teams.
