Your role
We are looking for a dedicated Sourcing Manager to join our Information Management (IM) procurement category as a parental leave cover. This is a fixed term position from approximately September/October 2026 until June 2027.
In this role, you will take responsibility for sourcing projects within the IM category and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with the IM Category Manager, the Information Management organisation, and other key stakeholders across Orion Pharma.
The position is based in Espoo or Turku, and the working model is hybrid. You will report to the IM Category Manager within Indirect Procurement.
You will join a team of procurement professionals who work in close cooperation with the business to ensure sourcing supports Orion’s needs in terms of quality, cost efficiency, risk management, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Clarifying sourcing needs together with relevant stakeholders
- Planning and leading sourcing cases, including but not limited to RFIs and RFPs
- Coordinating commercial, technical, risk, and compliance evaluations
- Leading and conducting commercial and contractual negotiations
- Developing sourcing practices, templates, and capabilities, including the use of AI where applicable
- Supporting Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities
- Working closely with IT Service Managers, IT Project Managers, and other key IT and procurement stakeholders

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and structured professional who enjoys working with sourcing projects and collaborating with different stakeholders in an IT-related environment.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Experience with and understanding of IT projects, services, or solutions and their sourcing
- Good collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills
- A practical, can-do approach and the ability to prioritise and drive sourcing cases forward
- Willingness to learn and further develop your expertise in IT sourcing and indirect procurement
- A relevant university or polytechnic degree
- Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English

Orion's Global Operations covers the entire pharmaceutical manufacturing process, from sourcing of raw materials to the manufacture of products, packaging and delivery to customers. We are also responsible for the industrialization of new products and product life cycle management.
In Global Operations we have approximately 1,600 professionals working in Production, our external supplier network (Externally Sourced Operations) and Fermion Oy (API manufacturing and marketing). In addition, the organization includes Supply Chain & Procurement, Technical Operations, Facility Management, EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), CPD&LCM (Commercial Product Development & Product lifecycle management) and Operations Development.
Indirect Procurement, a segment of the Supply Chain and Procurement department within Orion’s Global Operations organization, comprises five distinct procurement categories, each led by a Category Manager. Our team of 20 centralized procurement professionals collaborates with broad networks of professionals within stakeholder organizations. We’re responsible for the strategic sourcing of Indirect services & goods, supplier management, risk management, and category management within Orion Corporation. We work in close cooperation with our internal stakeholders, external partners, and Orion’s Operative Procurement team, which handles the operative purchase-to-pay process.
