Who We Are

Parenting isn’t picture-perfect. It’s messy, hilarious, exhausting, and life-changing — sometimes all before noon. That’s where we come in.

Founded in 2014 by our CEO Chelsea Hirschhorn, Frida was built to make the raw reality of parenting a little easier to navigate (and a lot less overwhelming). It all started with one legendary snot-sucker — the NoseFrida — and has grown into a 200+ product lineup that supports families through every stage: from fertility and postpartum recovery to baby care and beyond.

We don’t shy away from the stuff no one else wants to talk about — nipple pain, diaper blowouts, or the emotional rollercoaster that comes with keeping a tiny human alive. We call it like it is, solve the problems that actually matter, and build products that help parents feel seen, supported, and totally capable.

You can now find Frida products in 50+ countries and thousands of stores across the U.S., from the biggest national retailers to your neighborhood grocery aisle.

Under Hirschhorn’s leadership, Frida has become a category leader by challenging taboos, championing honesty, and supporting families at every stage of parenthood and beyond, earning acclaim on TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies, TIME Best Inventions, Fast Company Most Innovative Companies and Fast Company Brands That Matter. But the real win? Knowing we’re helping parents everywhere feel a little more human and a little less alone.

How You Will Make an Impact

Frida is looking for a Sourcing Manager (Contract) to join our Operations team and lead the process of finding the ideal products and partners to drive our growth. The Sourcing Manager (Contract) will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned product categories, including finished goods, components, packaging, consumables, raw materials, and formulated products based on business priorities. This role will identify and evaluate manufacturing partners, lead competitive sourcing processes, negotiate commercial terms, and collaborate cross-functionally to select suppliers that deliver against Frida's quality, innovation, service, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded sourcing professional who can manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Develop category-specific sourcing strategies based on business priorities, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, capacity, geographic footprint, lead times, and supply continuity risks
  • Prepare RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and bid packages that clearly communicate technical, operational, quality, commercial, and timeline requirements
  • Manage competitive quoting processes by collecting, consolidating, and analyzing supplier quotations while developing sourcing scenarios and recommendations
  • Lead negotiations with new and existing suppliers covering product COGS and key commercial terms
  • Negotiate payment terms, MOQs, tooling, freight, lead times, capacity commitments, intellectual property protections, and other commercial agreements
  • Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Planning, Finance, Legal, and Operations throughout supplier selection and implementation
  • Plan and facilitate supplier capability reviews, pre-award meetings, and supplier selection processes
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities across manufacturing processes, technical expertise, quality systems, compliance, scalability, capacity, and geographic footprint
  • Support supplier agreement negotiations by providing commercial inputs and driving favorable terms
  • Lead or support supplier transitions, including project planning, risk mitigation, qualification activities, and implementation
  • Execute supplier base optimization initiatives that improve cost, quality, service, flexibility, or supply continuity
  • Support Supplier Relationship Management by maintaining supplier scorecards and monitoring supplier performance against KPIs
  • Maintain COGS within applicable systems while identifying opportunities to improve PPV through negotiation, supplier optimization, value engineering, or specification improvements
  • Build productive supplier relationships while holding suppliers accountable for cost, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, manufacturing, or related experience
