Job Description

Revelyst Golf Technology brings together some of the most trusted names in golf innovation — Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, GolfLogix, and PinSeeker — under one platform dedicated to helping golfers play smarter and improve faster. Our teams design and build the launch monitors, rangefinders, sensors, and connected software that golfers and coaches rely on at every level of the game, from the driving range to the PGA Tour.

We are seeking a highly technical Sourcing Engineer to join our Product Development team and support the development of industry-leading golf technology products.  The Sourcing Engineer serves as a key partner to Engineering, helping identify, evaluate, and integrate components, technologies, and manufacturing solutions that enable innovative product development. This role works closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure designs are optimized for performance, manufacturability, quality, cost, and scalability.

This position plays a critical role in accelerating development timelines, mitigating technical risk, and enabling the successful launch of next-generation products across the Revelyst Golf Technology portfolio.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in our Carlsbad, CA headquarters.

As a Sourcing Engineer, you will:

  • Partner with Engineering teams to identify and evaluate components, technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes for new product development.

  • Research emerging technologies and suppliers that can improve product performance, quality, innovation, cost, and time-to-market.

  • Support component selection and architecture decisions during product design and development.

  • Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware Engineering teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, quality, and scalability.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide sourcing and manufacturing expertise throughout the development process.

  • Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and manufacturing processes to ensure alignment with product requirements.

  • Support prototype builds, engineering validation testing, pilot production, and new product introduction activities.

  • Identify technical, manufacturing, and supply risks early in the development cycle and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Cost (DFC) initiatives.

  • Work with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve component, manufacturing, and product performance issues.

  • Support BOM development, component lifecycle management, and alternative part qualification.

  • Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transfer from development into production.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities relevant to golf technology and consumer electronics.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in product development, supplier engineering, manufacturing engineering, new product introduction (NPI), or a related engineering role.

  • Experience supporting consumer electronics, connected devices, sporting goods, technology products, or complex hardware systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, schematics, and bills of materials.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including plastics, metals, electronics, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical systems.

  • Experience supporting prototype development, engineering builds, validation testing, and product launches.

  • Knowledge of DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis, FMEA, and root-cause problem-solving methodologies.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and external partners.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00
